Tangente Neomatik 39 Watch Winder Settings | Tempus

Nomos Glashütte's Bauhaus icon with ultra-thin automatic calibre.

If you rotate your Nomos Tangente Neomatik 39 with other watches, a winder keeps it wound and ready — no more resetting complications on Monday morning. Set the TPD and direction as below and your Tempus winder does the rest.

Recommended Winder Settings

Setting	Value
Turns per day (TPD)	650
Winding direction	Bidirectional
Movement	DUW 3001
Reference	140

Note: published TPD guidance for this reference varies slightly between sources. The setting above reflects the most widely cited figure; any quality winder with a nearby programmable setting will keep this watch running happily.

Setting Up Your Tempus Winder

Select 650 TPD and bidirectional rotation on the winder's control panel — on touch-screen Tempus models this takes seconds. Place the Tangente Neomatik 39 on the holder, close the lid, and let it run. Check after 48 hours: if the watch is running accurately and holding its reserve, the setting is right. Tempus winders run whisper-quiet, so a bedroom or study placement works well.

Tempus Winders for the Tangente Neomatik 39

Any Tempus winder with programmable TPD will handle these settings. Three solid picks:

Tempus 9 Touch Screen (£1,121) — programmable TPD, bidirectional mode supported, 3-year warranty included.
Tempus 12 Biometric (£2,096) — programmable TPD, bidirectional mode supported, 3-year warranty included.

Frequently Asked Questions

What TPD does the Nomos Tangente Neomatik 39 need?

The recommended setting is 650 turns per day, bidirectional. Most Tempus winders cover this range with programmable TPD steps.

Which winding direction for the Tangente Neomatik 39?

Bidirectional rotation. Tempus winders offer clockwise, counter-clockwise and bidirectional modes, so this is covered.

Can I leave my Tangente Neomatik 39 on a winder all the time?

Yes. Modern automatic movements have a slipping mainspring that prevents overwinding, so continuous gentle rotation is safe. An incorrect TPD setting will not damage the watch — at worst it simply will not stay fully wound.

Does Tempus offer a warranty on winders?

Every Tempus watch winder carries a 3-year warranty, and Tempus can repair any Tempus-brand winder even once the warranty has expired.
