Serica 8315 GMT Watch Winder Settings (TPD)
The Serica 8315 GMT is an automatic watch that benefits from regular winding when not worn. The correct setting below keeps it at full power reserve and ready to wear — no daily resetting required.
| Setting |
Value |
| TPD (Turns Per Day) |
650 |
| Winding Direction |
Bidirectional |
Set your Tempus winder to 650 TPD, bidirectional, and the 8315 GMT will stay wound indefinitely. Thanks to the slipping mainspring in modern automatic movements, there is no risk of overwinding.
Recommended Tempus Winders
Every Tempus winder offers programmable TPD with clockwise, counter-clockwise and bidirectional modes, plus a 3-year warranty as standard.
